Here's a quick little guide to getting started.
| 1) Check the system requirements. | ||
| 2) To sign up, follow this link. | ||
| - (optional) pick any group on the left to get started. | ||
| 3) Pick an avatar (what you want to look like - can be changed at any time after) | ||
| 4) Pick a name | ||
| Things to note when picking your name: | ||
| a) you cannot have a customized last name, you'll have to choose from what's available | ||
| b) you can customize your first name, but remember .. once you pick your name.. you can't change it! Make sure you check the availability before accepting. | ||
| 4) If it doesn't lead you to the download page, go here. | ||
| Ok, are you logged in? | ||
| 5) After you download the program, you have a few choices for training. | ||
| a) Stay in orientation island, where you'll find various tutorials and meet resident helpers as well as other new residents; or | ||
| b) Watch a short listing of basic video tutorials courtesy of Torley. | ||

| 6) Not
sure what to do once you're there? Apart from exploring, I highly recommend taking a class. (Most are free!) |

the search bar on the bottom of the screen - Select the 'Events' tab on the top - Use the drop down menu & choose Education - Press search. |
